Nell'edizione #02-03 di Weekly Shonen Jump è stato annunciato che il manga Boku no Hero Academia avrà un adattamento a film in formato anime. Questo film verterà su una storia originale che non fa parte del manga. Infine, è stato annunciato che il film uscirà nel 2018.
